Oxeltis recruits 2 Post doc in Organic Synthesis / Medicinal Chemistry

Position: Post Doc (PhD)  in Organic Synthesis / Medicinal Chemistry in Montpellier (France) – fix term contract 12 months, starting Feb-March 2017

The Post Doc in medicinal chemistry will be responsible for the proposal, synthesis, characterization and study of heterocyclic and nucleoside molecules to be carried out for external R&D clients within contracts in medicinal chemistry or custom synthesis with the pharmaceutical industry. The candidate will be part of a project group under the leadership of Oxeltis’ Medicinal Chemistry Director.

The successful candidates will hold a PhD in organic chemistry (organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry). Significant experience in nucleoside or sugar chemistry is desired. This position may also suit a candidate with a previous Post Doc experience. He/she will be familiar with modern synthetic techniques, purification methods and biophysical characterizations. He/she must be fluent in English and possibly French.
